Will break down Ar15 for the first
time to clean& lube. I watched a few Utubes about removing the bolt.... I’m ready to proceed. It’s been a while since I cleaned a firearm. Ah.. the sweet smell of Hoppes#9
And I'm not saying I'm right ....just thought I read that years ago but will research.
Here's the issue. I travel sometimes and cannot check the safe periodically. Dry packs work well but have to be recharged(something like that)....put into oven for x amount of time. I cannot do that. Also...
At what point do you replace yours. (aside from when it stops working). I realize nothing last forever...The rod in my safe is about 4-5 years old. Would like to replace sooner rather than later. I do not go into the safe very often....would hate to get a surprise one day. Thanks.
Hi everyone. I received and assembled the WM1000. it seems pretty sturdy and might accommodate the Tipton Vice. Anyway thank you for each reply. You were all very helpful. Happy New Year....feel good. Be safe.
I am currently using the 2x4 basics on a narrow bench for a 48" Taig lathe. Those legs are fabulous. I will think about using them for a work utility bench..thanks for
mentioning...totally forgot about them.
Very nice set up. I need portability...space is an issue that's why I looked at the Black and Decker. Maybe I'll build a solid permanent bench. Currently my garage is tight. Might have to reconfigure it. Thanks for all the replies. Everything helps. Frank
Hi boom. Thanks for your reply. Aside from not using the WM for firearm cleaning how do you like it in general. I'm thinking of having one for tinkering and light projects.
Just bought a Tipton Best Vice. I'm considering a Black and Decker WM425 or WM1000 to use with it. Also want to use the WorkMate for small projects. Any comments or suggestions. Anyone own a Black&Decker WM. I want to store both when not using. Thanks, Frank
Sorry if my comment is offending. Not my intentions. But's lets be real. There are attorneys that specialize in that field and will grab the case. There are attorneys that will sue anyone for anything regardless if they are right or wrong.
I had a slam fire with a S&W mod41 with a Clarks barrel. A Remington Golden did not feed entirely...I pulled back the slide..released it and the sucker discharged. I was at an indoor range. I was pointing downrange. No harm done...just shook me up. We can never be too safe. And don't ever think...
Without "stand you ground" the lawyers are back in business. Let's say stopping force was used against a crook/criminal in yourhouse. His lawyer will say he was only there to take your TV or Toaster.... my client was not going to hurt you.
