    Remington premier sts

Check the Length of Pull . Some of those Mossbergs run 14 and Half inch . If your under six foot tall , that's probably way too much . The cheap 1 oz. game loads will give you low recoil .

    270 Win

Less than MAX is probably going to be most accurate . You have to do load development , each barrel is different .

Whats better for long range on deer and elk.. .270 or .30-06?

The Bullet , the aim , the Trigger squeeze .....far more important than the difference between .277 and .308 . Which do you own ? Which do you shoot more accurately with the proper bullet ? Vanilla Milkshake or Chocolate ?

Mossberg .410 for elderly home defense?

The .410 may be the perfect tool for that fellow . Recoil is not a problem with a .410 , and it is a lot more quiet than larger rounds as well . Forget about scaring someone with the sound of the action , your only setting yourself up for a big surprise . The whole idea is to keep...

Yeah ,that danged French writing can confuse anyone . Well actually , there are two reasons not yet mentioned , basically the same reasons that the US and Britain didn't go to 7mm as well . All three had actually considered a smaller caliber , 7mm for the US and Brits , and the Germans...
