Actually used the rustoleum hammered line of paints I used the deep green to build up a few coats then hit it with a fine mist of verde green to lighten it up just a tad.
I picked up a bunch of reloading equipment from a guy I work with a few months back. I really didnt need any of it so i was just going to try to flip it. Well, i changed my mind. It wasnt in bad shape, but it was all pretty old and worn out looking. The press is a RCBS JR2 from the late 60's...
Power pistol is my go-to powder for anytime i shoot at the indoor range with my 9, or 45. it does draw a little attention. i prefer 7.5gr with a 230gr bullet as well. tried 7.7 but the 7.5 was a little easier on the hands.

Update: Rifle chosen
Just an update to this thread... I ended up picking up a Ruger American in .223. Ended up getting it brand new for 299 and put a decent bushnell scope on it. Managed to put a few rounds through it so far. Shot a couple boxes of factory 55gr pmc rounds at 100 yards...
when i started reloading for 9mm, i bought 1000 rounds of factory ammo so that i could use the cases. I still have 900 rounds left of factory from when i bought it 2 years ago. i vote just buy brass...
4.3 gr of green dot shot drastically better than 3.9 gr of green dot for me. I dont have pictures of the difference, but at 7 yards, 3.9 looked like yours, but 4.3 looked about 1/2 of the size of your fmj target.
