    I have the 290rs also - that long double action is definitely a safety. As, has been noted - be sure to use a holster. One time while shooting with my 9 year old daughter, I had her try it empty and she could not pull the trigger.

    No. Variety is the spice of life. a bunch of black plastic glocks? no, one or two maybe. You definitely need some blued steel, wood grips, etc. to keep things interesting.

    I've noticed a couple times people referencing "the police and the civilians." It's my understanding that police are civilians. We have a non-military police force.
