I had a Dpms sweet 16 and it was an excellent weapon that was well made and accurate. Mine burned up in a fire, so I'd get this one fixed and be glad you still have an AR 15 to plunk with, hunt with, and protect your family with because I wish I had the money to replace mine...

I have shot the 240 from FTC in my Traditions Vortex but prefer the 200gr Hornady in it. I used to used a Remington Model 700m/l and it shot 3/4" groups with the 240 Ftx bullet. It was very deadly in deer, too. Use it, you won't be sorry!
