Pick a good 1911 gunsmith... he'll determine the right slide replacement. Chuck Rogers or Bob Rodgers would be a nice start.

It helps to RTFM.... I didn't and had a few hiccups. I was then schooled on the 3" Kimber. Alls been well for a couple thousand rounds and is my EDC. Top pic and it shows a little holster wear.

Les Baer... All things equal, it's pretty hard to out shoot a good 1911 in bullseye shooting.;)
