The steel kind, 0.5inch x 8inches dia. circular target that is plenty on the outdoor range(club range) that I go to. BTW, they also have human torso-shaped targets that is even more resistant to falling, you need two successive hits using the 9mm to even have the chance to bring it down.

What about any of you guys or gals, have you found yourself's going back to the 9mm or any other cartridge?? I don't know about you guys, but I just shoot tighter with the 45acp than with my 9mm, and target plates just fall easily with the 45(one shot), whereas you'd need two in the 9. fr...
