Good thing I asked before I loaded a few of these. So max load mean plus p or is there another recipe altogether for plus p.

I am having concerns with a load for 9mm. The recipe calls fo 6.2 grains of unique under a 125 grain bullet. Now when I do this it seems that the bullet compresses the powder. Is that normal on 9mm loads or is this not safe? That is a alliant published recipe but I haven't been reloading long...

I use lee pro 1000 for 45lc and 45acp. I have done very well with it and am satisfied. I can load about 200 rounds per hour at a normal pace. But you can bring those numbers closer to 300-400 if you try I would guess. Also I have never tried any other press. I'm sure if you have the funds a...

Is it illegal to use ap rounds in a 223 pistol. Or is it just handgun calibers like a 7.62x25 per say?

Great pistol. I bought 1 about a month ago and I have about 300 rounds thru it already!! Fun to shoot and very accurate at 25 yards. Can't wIt till I go shoot it again this weekend! :)

I'd be shooting down. I hunt squirrels while scouting deer from my tree stand. I would never shoot a 45 lc up in the air.

Is a 45 long colt 300 grain xtp, loaded to about 730 to 800 fps, enough to kill a deer at 50 yards? The reason that 730-800 fps if my max is because I am using a uberti cattleman this year for gun season. Thank for help and any load info to achieve this speed would be much appreciated Ty.
