I actually took your suggestion since a local smith was quoting me a 1 week wait time to re-stake it. After 24 hours of curing it seems to work like a charm. Only been able to run some dummy rounds through it, but function is GTG. Will run a few boxes through it this weekend.

Since Safariland's acquisition of Speedfeed, their quality has gone down. The last IV-4 stock I bought had molding marks all over it, and the Limbsaver pad had changed from a full rubber pad into a hybrid pad with 1/2 plastic and 1/2 rubber.

If you buy a Commercial M9, Beretta packages an extra blaze orange slip that has the normal 92 frame warning on it.

The only difference is the roll marks. The straight dustcover frame is still being used on current production 92FS models. Plus early 92F/FS models used the 2-dot sight system which doesn't make it unique to the M9.
