    Fluted Tikka T3 in 223??

Thanks. I'm a big fan of the 75 Amax. Haven't tried it in this rifle...yet. I haven't had an issue with POI for the 1st cold bore shot. I just shot it last week to check zero. First 3 shots.

    Fluted Tikka T3 in 223??

Accuracy with mine has been excellent esp with 60gr NBT's. It's pretty consistent 1/2 MOA to 200yds and MOA at 300. As Scotty mentioned, you can put quite a few rounds down range with a 223 before the barrel heats up enough to affect groups. As you would expect, the SL can't keep up with my...

    Fluted Tikka T3 in 223??

The T3 you describe is a Superlite. I have the one you mention. The T3 223's were originally produced in 8" or 12" twist. The production of 10" twist 223's began a few years ago.

So is a Remington 722 in 222 worth keeping since I already

Supertec, Does Vihtavuori N133 also work well in the 222 Mag? I have a good load worked up for mine with 52gr SMK's and H4895 but have never tried N133.

    Thinking about a .17 HMR

My CZ 455 17 HMR was my 1st .17 calber. It's very accurate and a lot of fun to shoot. I've heard good things about the RAR too. I've enjoyed the 17 HMR enough that I recently purchased a .17 cal CF, CZ 527 17 Hornet.......and it's MORE fun!!

one ragged hole at 100 yards. whats yours?

Sako 85 260 is one of the most accurate rifles I've ever shot. It shoots everything I've fed it well but loves 120gr TTSX's. The 1st time i ever took it hunting, I shot a very nice FL buck at 200yds.

    Tikka Accuracy

Here's the old 695 at work in 2004 IIRC. And now with her new duds. Also, cerakoted it.

    Tikka Accuracy

Dryhumor, That's a beautiful 695! My first Tikka was a 695 in 270. I've had it for 15 years and it was my go to rifle for many years. Still a tackdriver but at 9lbs scoped, I don't carry it as much anymore. I broke the stock (plain jane wood on mine) years ago and it now resides in a McM stock...

    Tikka Accuracy

It's just a Hunter.....but some of the nicest timber that I've seen on a T3. I didn't really need a 7mm-08 but couldn't resist when I saw it. Obviously, very happy with the accuracy as well. Sometimes, the stars align just right.

    Tikka Accuracy

T3 7mm-08. First 3 shot group with this rifle (Nosler 120gr NBT's @ 100yds). I made adjustments to center it 2" high at 100yds and repeated a 3 shot group. I own several in 6.5x55, 25-06 and 223. All very accurate.

    223 Fallacy

Not to mention, I'm much more likely to hit where I'm aiming with my 233 than a bow and at a little further distance to boot!;) I do like the extended season that a bow affords. Point is: I don't get how anybody who bow hunts or thinks it's acceptable to hunt deer with a bow can debate...

    223 Fallacy

Exactly RW. I guess some hydrostatic shock creating collateral damage to surrounding vitals from a high velocity cartridge doesn't match the killing prowess of an arrow! I agree mtrmn, these debates get comical!
