The new carbines DO NOT have a magazine disconnect safety and WILL handle +p ammo as well. I have a new one in camo ......im sure of it :) I just checked it . And they always were +p rated ,from the begining. People should keep the facts straight ...

if that comes with mags ,buy it ! mine is a sweet shooter. only thing is its a us barrel . wrap the folder with paracord and report back how much fun it is. mine has been flawless .... they are lighter than an ak and are superior is various ways.

i checked trigger pull, 3 lb 13 0z just by bending spring steel arms down. it has a lil take-up, but its worth it. my 5.45 saiga has gotta go :D lovin this lil rifle ;)

just got back from the range, nice smooth shooter. shoots as well as my eyes will let it @50 yds :rolleyes: . at 25 yds it was one ragged hole, 50 yds was decent also. makes my saigas triggers seem pathetic (unconverted). i may get a forend to mount an rds next, as these are my fav on these type...

just received a vz2008 myself. cleaned , lubed and ready for range as soon as i shovel the way to the 4runner !:banghead: this paticular build looks pretty good to me. lightened up the trigger a bunch, egged a loose handguard pin for tighter fit and she seems good to go..... i beat the panic at...

im doubting thats ar500 steel . it will dent,but not go through like that...imo i have an ar500 gong and its tough as hell ! a 5.56 with m855 lake city or my ak-74 5.45 steel core barely leave a tiny ding in it @ 50 yds with those fast moving penetrator rounds

^^^^^ that sums it up there ^^^^^^^^^^^ 3" groups @ 100 is good for the surplus ammo. im going to try some hornady to see if it tightens up a bit. if it does ,good !! if not, its still ok . its just a fun gun anyways to me

i agree, to me its a non-issue with a rifle. if it changes poi 1/8" ,thats fine. im not a sharpshooter anyways. i had the same heated debate with my buddy a month back. we were both correct but said it differently. the bullet only rises due to upward angle of the barrel, not a true vertical rise...

its 1:25 am , you guys have me cracking up !! a bullet shot out of a completely level bore axis will do nothing but drop. take that! you both will agree on that one :neener:

^^^^^ haha, i love it !!^^^^^^^ dont have a 10/22 , but had a glenfield 60 before. now shooting a remmie 581 bolt and im liking it. that pic of that one with a full-length stock looks sweet to me though..........
