Hey, bought two cylinders from Cabela's a few years ago, for a Remmy 1858, Both had issues, sent them back. The next two still did not work, Cabela's said try a gunsmith. Went to gunsmith, gunsmith said no charge! I would buy spares from Cabela's again, minor problem, timing?

Thanks! Well that is not good news. I tried the flip, but the caps are tight. Sometimes I have to pry them out. Have 3 cylinders, to make it more difficult to figure. But will try, have some CCI 11# caps. Thanks!

Hello to all, bought many tins of Rem. caps #10 for my Rem. 1858 with Treso's on, they fit great but the cap is wedged between the cylinder, so it will bind, after the shot, any insight?

Hello, just got back from making some smoke. I'm shooting a Rem. 1858 with 30-35 grains, .454 ball, lube on the 2 and 5 shot and #10 Rem. caps on Treso nipples. But the caps stay on the cylinder after the shot! About 50-70% of the time. Any insight to remedy? But all in all a great day! Thanks...
