Mind if I ask why you want a carbine length gas system? I have both carbine and mid-length 16" barrels and I much prefer the mid-length systems. I have a 16" BCM mid-length and it is way smoother shooting than my 16" carbine Doublestar.

I love my WML also. I have the HSP version in a thorntail mount on my go to AR, it is a solid light. I like their APL too.

I keep a Taurus 66 4" 357 in my truck. I paid around 250 for it and it is a solid gun. I also keep a few boxes of 38 to share with my carry 442.

I recently bought an AR-15 carry handle, but it does not have the sight o it. I am having a hard time finding the sight parts to put on the carry handle. The sight will be used on a flat top upper with a "F" marked FSB. Any idea where I can find the parts I need.

MI does use a proprietary barrel nut, but the wrench is included with the rail. I have Gen 2 SS rail and one of the new keymods, both installed easily and are rock sold. I don't think you will find a lighter rail in the MI price range. That Seekins is a good looking rail though.

I just put the Ameriglo Hackathorns on my Glocks (22 & 23). I haven't got to shoot with them yet, but I like the sight picture.

I have never heard anything negative about Seekins product. The only products I own from them are the magazine release buttons, which I really like. That is a good looking rail though. If your not set on them, I would recommend giving Midwest Industries a look. Their rails are solid and light.
