The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is not 25 sq miles, it's 25,260 sq miles. To put it in better perspective, that's larger than the State of West Virginia.
That routing would take me way out of the way. I don't do chains, but my truck is 4WD and has good winter tires on it. I'm not worried about cops, I've done this route before and had no problems. The speed limits are such that they are no problem for me.
I'm going to be flying to SeaTac from Alaska and then picking up my crewcab pickup at the Port of Tacoma and driving to Tucson, AZ by way of 90-82-84 to Twin Falls and then US 93 into AZ. My concern is having my Ruger LCP in my luggage at SeaTac and then in my truck while in WA and OR. I have...
Thanks for all the replies. I think I'll just lock it up in my gun box before crossing the border and I'll put it back in my holster just as soon as I exit the state. As I stated earlier, I have no intention of even stopping while driving though Illinois. It shouldn't take but 2.5 to 3 hours...
I'm going to be driving from Arizona to upper Indiana. My only concern on this journey is driving through Illinois, probably on I-70. Every other state accepts my CCW permit, except Illinois. What is the best way to transport my Glock 23 and its three 13 round magazines? I have a crew cab...
If anything, ammo prices will go up for those calibers that are already in short supply. Lower gas prices means more money in consumer's pockets. Some people will use that money to buy even more .22 ammo, since demand still exceeds supply and now people have a little more money.
I'm going to be driving to Texas for Thanksgiving and I need info on possessing in my vehicle. I just moved to AZ, so I don't have an AZ CCW for reciprocity purposes. My old CCW is no longer valid as I am no longer a resident of the state it was issued in. I know I can't CCW while in Texas...
I'm looking for a good solid course in the Green Valley/Tucson area. I'm new to Arizona, so I want to at least learn about Arizona law. I had a CCW permit from my home state and I'm retired military and retired Corrections, so it appears I don't need to complete the shooting phase. Any...
I'm sure I'll find some fellow shooters in the Green Valley area. Looks like the move is going to happen even sooner than expected. Got multiple bids on the house and we accepted an offer. Could be there the third week of July. Looking forward to it!
