    After firing and contrasting my "ported 870" to their shotguns, 3 other gentlemen have taken their shotguns in for the same treatment. No placebo happening here, but maybe mass hysteria. :evil:

    That's very true, but I also had my 870 done and the reduction is also at 35 to 40% with no barrel flip.

    I had the forcing cone extended and the barrel ported on my Remington 1100 Tac-4. The porting has completely removed the barrel flip. Overall, the 2 procedures has reduced the felt recoil by 35 to 40 percent.
