Wow! The notion is a good one. I have thought for the longest time that I should get a little focus on what I am doing. Too many revolvers, various calibers, too many differnt semi autos, various calibers. Maybe if took some of the ideas from the original post I could actually get better...

After reading through all of this I am staying away from attacking bears. I might attack beers! I will continue supporting my right keep and arm bears, but not with beers.

Mostly carry Taurus Poly Protector 38 +p. Just bought SCCY CPX2 9mm gonna give it a try, works well at the range.

CPX2 isn't for everyone. I have one and like it. I also like my J frames 38s for ccw. CPX2 has a lot of good features, but if you don't shoot DA a lot it could off putting.

I voted for the Dan Wesson pistol pac because I've owned one and they are great. I also have two Taurus 357s a 4" stainless old one and a 6" blue new one. They are great guns.

Hi A friend tried to give me an old Remington pump 22lr that his Father left to him. This gun was from 1909 - 1911, serial # RW 129xxx. It is in 80% condition, needs cleaning and has never been "messed with". It has an octagon barrel, and his Father used in Camp Perry matches in 1940 or so...

Hi Probably not at all. Tarus was an easy target to bash, but too many owners have had them for a long time and have had very good experiences with them. Have had a PT 92 for 5 years and not probs at all. Great heavy gun. Fun to shoot, accurate, reliable.
