I've owned two M44s and sold them partly because the "accuracy" was so bad. I kept them for as long as I did because people at the range loved seeing the HUGE fireball... especially at dusk. 😊
Your Turk ammo looks nice. I've shot LOTS of the stuff with 1940-1950 headstamps; never had a dud or hangfire, just a few cracked necks with the 1947 vintage. It all depends on how it was stored. Both Turk and Romanian have light bullets, about 154g; German and Yugo are 196-198g.
I've never had...
I swore I would never do this but I repented of my sin😁. Got some .380 Auto dies and loaded up a bunch of it. I used Hornady 90g XTP and RMR 90g RN with Win 231, AA#5, Unique and Power Pistol..
I got some 60g Hornady VMax and loaded up a ladder over Benchmark. Now I have a dozen different ladders of various calibers in the queue. Trouble is I want to shoot ALL of them on the first nice day; I guess I'll have to put numbers in a hat and draw 2-3...🤔
Ok, so I haven't gotten around to loading .38 Special yet but when I went to the range today, someone was nice enough to leave me 50 pieces of once-fired brass. Now I have yet ANOTHER reason to load more of the stuff 😅
Now I remember. I was gonna make a carbine "correct" before I figured out it was more trouble than it was worth, lol. Anybody need a "mystery tool"?? 😂
Does anyone have any idea what this gadget is?? I must've bought it about 10 years ago then stuck it in a closet without labeling it. It looks like a sight adjustment tool, about 5" wide, but for what?? 🙄
