I'd keep checking aimsurplus. In the past month or so they've restocked their 38s a couple of times, and I've picked up a couple hundred rounds each time for plinking.

It's kentucky, summers are hazy, hot and humid, high in the mid-90s, 30% chance of late afternoon thunderstorms, winters are down into the singles and teens, with a slight chance of snow/sleet/hail. In summer we get tornados and in fall we get windstorms.

Yeah, all of a sudden a bunch of the places that used to have Nagant revolvers are sold out, and there are a bunch listed on gunbroker for a hundred and fifty. Priced me right out of getting one at that point.

I just recently picked up a King Cobra 6" stainless, and I love it. I was looking at getting a GP100 but this came along at a price that couldn't be beat, $350, and I snapped it up. Of course now I want one that's blued, but it's going to be a while before I am allowed to pick up another...

My father just recently let me have this, it was given to him back when he was in his early teens. Other than it being a S&W .38 special I have no idea what this is. Any help identifying it would be great. Serial number on the butt is C1945XX No model numbers that I could see anywhere...

I too have a question about a S&W revolver that has passed down to me. Serial number C1945XX That's stamped on the butt and on the barrel below the ejector rod. Any information that anyone could provide would be appreciated.
