    Patina, what patina? Stainless wet tumble 4 hours and your worst brass looks like this and I've started with some really black stuff.

    I also really taken a liking to the 53, mainly because they have a really good BC for the weight. Exceptional accuracy and flat shooting.

    Depriming as a separate step

    Last night I loaded some 9mm plinking rounds, half with stainless cleaned brass, and half with unclean military brass that I pulled the bullets and primers from. I was amazed how much smoother, easier the primers seated in the clean brass was.

    Hornady Powder Drain Insert - Review

    When I had mine mounted on a stand, I too found the usefulness of the powder drain. Now I only use these powder measures on the progressive. With the LNL bushings, a quick twist and I dump the powder back into the jug.
