    .32 S&W Long

"The only other K frame revolver S&W chambered for 32 S&W Long that I am aware of was the 32 Military and Police. Nothing more than a 38 Military and Police (later known as the Model 10) chambered for 32 S&W Long. Fixed sights. SCSW says they were made with 2". 4", and 5" barrels. Only 4,813...

    Waiting for a S&W 15-2

Congratulations on getting one of the best! You'll love it. My 1957 K38 is reblued and a bit worn but smooth, accurate and as comfortable as an old shoe, my favorite .38 spl. shooter. The LNIB 1974 is just in case the 1957 ever wears out...yeah, right.

Smith & Wesson 34-1 at LGS

The Mod 34 is known as the “Model of 1953 22/32 Kit Gun” in 2” and 4” barrels, square or round butt. It was introduced in 1953 in the S&W I frame and intended as a take-along gun for your fishing tackle box or hiking “kit” gun. The frame was changed to the slightly larger J frame in 1960 and was...

    Smith 686-3 3”?

I had both 3" and 4" until a couple of years ago when I sold the 3" to someone who wanted it more than I did. However, I got to missing the 3" so badly I bought a new one last year. Both are excellent guns and I will not be selling either one anytime soon. The 4" is 6 rounds and the 3" is 7.

    Want a small 32!?

I just put these two Rugers on consignment at my LGS because I have other interests at the moment. I don't hunt but either could be good hunting guns. Also, the 327 Fed Mag guns allow for the use of all four .32 cartridges; 32 S&W, 32 long 32 H&R and 327 Fed. 4"w/adjustable sights Single...

How do I tell I've been firing hot rounds?

Guess I wasn't "paying attention"...that's an Italian clone, not a Colt.

How do I tell I've been firing hot rounds?

Excellent! I use a turret press and reload in batches of 50 or less. I try to keep a supply of primed and belled cases on hand so when I do a batch I can start with dropping powder in the whole batch. The next step is to use the flashlight stored permanently under my bench to look into each...

If you are not sure of the ammo you are loading in your gun...don't! The results of improper ammo can be disasterous. Smith & Wesson Ruger Colt

    Unregistered ammunition...?

First, my error about location of arrest. It was in DC. Hard to tell the difference sometimes. Second, I randomly picked Newsweek and USA Today off of a general net search because I couldn’t find the Newsmax article where I first read it. Found it later...

    Unregistered ammunition...?

A man was arrested in California recently and, among other charges, was charged with possessing "unregistered ammunition". I'm not familiar with CA laws and have no plans to go there but am just curious about how one goes about "registering" ammo in that state and how the state enforces...
