    Over the years have had both lightweight and "combat" Commanders. I don't see much difference in their longevity. Currently have a Wiley Clapp Commander and I don't see much wear or looseness. I think it will outlast me!

    I just traded a Sig 230 for a 642, it just cariies more easily. Took it to the range last night and was very pleased with the recoil and accuracy. At 7-10yds putting them all in a fist sized area was a nice surprise. The Federal 110gr low recoil rounds were particularly accurate. Al

    Your point makes sense about the more narrow population of guns that I see, however I am also including guns that people use on the range and are not there to trade or have fixed.
