    Taurus Raging Bull 45 LC

    I shot the Heavy 45 Colt +P Buffalo Bore 260 gr. J.H.P. (1450 fps / M.E. 1214 ft. lbs.). It does shoot them just fine. Thanks for the input!

    Thanks for the input. I feel better about it now. I ordered some Buffalo Bore 45LC 260GR JHP heavy +P loads before I was sure. The gun looks like it will handle them but some woman at Taurus USA (who didn't even know they made a colt 45 Raging Bull after looking online at their website) said...

    I just purchased a Raging Bull in 45 LC (NOT 454). I was hoping to shoot +P loads for hunting with it. Does anyone have any first hand knowledge or experience with these loads in this gun? Most Colt 45 loads are either 'cowboy' strength which is not good enough for me for hunting.
