I ended up just putting on higher rings...worked like a charm, and now there is enough space for my scope covers I always use. Thanks guys

I wanted to consult the experts on this. Using weaver medium rings on a Savage 93R17 to mount a 3-9x40. The objective sits a few mm above the barrel (perfect), but the eyepiece just barely touches the receiver in one spot. Is this okay or should I change to high rings? Thoughts?

Just a quick bump I'm looking to buy one of these this weekend so I wanna get all the input possible.

I have a CVA inline muzzleloader that I am going to use for hunting. I am between the Bushnell Elite 3200 or the Nikon Omega. Both will be 3-9x40. I do not want the BDC Reticle so don't take that into consideration. Which would you choose and why?

I am getting a Bushnell Elite 3200 4-12x40AO scope and want to put Butler Creek Flip-Up Covers on it. Does anyone know what sizes I need?
