Many years ago I bought a Winchester Limited Edition 11 30/30. If I recall, it is supposed to have a 24kt gold plated receiver. I'm curious how much gold this would actually be, and if the rifle may be worth considerably more now. There were 1500 made.

I have both. I am sold on SW revolvers, but.....for me at least.... the Ruger LCR has a much smoother trigger, more comfortable grip, and less felt recoil. To each his own. I don't think a person could go wrong with either one. Actually, my Glock 26 runs them both in the ground.

Several years ago I inherited an Ithaca Model 37 12 gauge featherlite pump. If I recall, my Dad talked about having to limit the shells it would hold to 3 by way of a "plug" in the gun to conform with hunting laws. Anyone know how to remove the plug? Thanks
