Midway has gone to $*?! as far as I'm concerned. Their shipping costs are completely over the top and your lucky to find 1 or 2 things out of 10 in stock. And now the big price increases especially when metal prices etc have taken a big drop. No thanks I'll stick with powder valley whose...
I have loaded up some 130gr hotcors for my 6.8spc. Haven't had a chance to get the loads worked up yet but can't wait to pop a hog or deer with it. As far as 223's go, be able to hit your target in the vitals and use a good stout loaded 65gr sierra gameking and it will stop any deer or hog that...
Saw a complete upper a week ago at PK firearms for 700$. otherwise nope. I would imagine anything RRA nowadays will be pretty much nonexistant unless your having a big run of good luck.
I started out with Speer bullets back in 1988 because the were always great on price, accuracy, and performance. However, in the last 2-3 years I keep going more and more to sierra and hornady solely due to a better to much better price. Most all of my good cheap Speer bullets have gone up 10$...
This is good news...the more AR15 rifles that are sold and in the hands of more people the better off we will be....10million people fighting for their rights tend to make alot more noise than 50 thousand. The demand is definitely there.
thats good..dont reload, it just leaves more for me.
I never figured out the law either. You can go down and have an abortion and kill human life but you walk across the street and pop the neighbors dog and see which one lands ya in jail! or better yet, go cutdown a redwood tree...end up with...
Remington will probably support the 6.8spc about like they supported the 7mm stw when their new pet 7mm Ultra came out. Especially with their "new" 30 rem AR supposedly coming out in 2009. I would kiss the 6.8 goodbye on their part. There as bad as a child looking for a new toy after he done got...
Id try some imperial sizing die wax or a good spraying with Hornady One shot. If the imperial doesnt fix it then you definitely have a big problem in which I would be contacting RCBS to ship that die back for replacement.
I have used IMR4064 for about 20 yrs now. It's all that I have ever used in my 270 win, 308 win, and 22-250 rem. I have even used it in my 223 ar15, however it was a major pain in the butt to get it all in the cases. I have since switched to Ramshot TAC in my 223, hard to beat as far as metering...
Ive had good luck so far using 32gr of IMR4064 and Hornady 60gr SP's. Just got some of the 63gr Sierra SMP's for my 223, maybe I will try them in my 22-250. I've had pretty decent luck with the Speer 55gr SP and the Rem 55gr Core-Lokts loaded to the cannelure. I'm wondering how the 63gr SMP's...
You can get the basic Marlin 336w at wally world for around 279$ not incl. tax. The winchester 94ae they had was around that same price as well. Not bad for a new beater rifle.
:D
I guess it just seemed to me that I would have to trim the 357 sig like I do my .270 win bottleneck cases after I shoot them each time or every other firing. Not having to trim sure makes the 357 sig round alot more appealing.
oopps. double post. disregard this post.
