Identify ComBloc ammo in sealed tins

Thanks much guys, your help is much appreciated. I thought the cans were a bit small for 440 rds, but 400 seems about right. Thanks for the bullets weights too.

Identify ComBloc ammo in sealed tins

I know the Spam cans hold 400, but these cans are somewhat smaller.

Identify ComBloc ammo in sealed tins

Thanks jonnyc for the country of manufacture. I've figured out that the 7.62x25 can holds 800 rds, but still are not sure how many are in the x54R tin.

Identify ComBloc ammo in sealed tins

(I'm not sure where to put this post, but here looked as good as any place.) I have several sealed tins of ComBloc Milsurp ammo & would like to know what is in them without opening them. My research only got me so far. I do know the ammo is corrosive. My research found contradictory information...

    Hakim trigger problem?

I guess it couldn't hurt to try adjusting the regulator. The ejected casings hit the roof of the shooting benches (fairly hard) from between 12:00-1:30 & fwd.

    Hakim trigger problem?

I know the trigger doesn't cock the hammer, but when the bolt is in battery the hammer must already be cocked, it's just that the trigger isn't engaging the hammer to release it. The bolt cycles enough to eject the fired round & chamber a new one. Then just a slight push fwd resets the trigger...

    Hakim trigger problem?

I recently acquired an Egyptian Hakim. Yesterday at the range while firing it for the first time, the trigger wouldn't reset. If I pushed it forward a tad it was fine. I figured there was a broken trigger reset spring or some other mechanical problem & off it would go to my gunsmith. I field...

    H&K 416D trigger

I talked to Bill today. For $49.00 I can send the trigger unit to him & he says he'll get it back in about a week. Can't beat that, I was expecting to pay much more, which I would have.

    H&K 416D trigger

After searching around the interweb (which I'm not all that great at), I did see what the mechanism looks like inside. It is not something I want to mess with. I did see that a guy name of Bill Springfield works on them, so I guess I'll see what he charges, which probably isn't real cheap I'm...

    H&K 416D trigger

Is there a way to lighten the trigger pull of my H&K 416D (dedicated .22lr)? My `smith says the trigger mechanism isn't like the AR-15, so I can't use a drop-in unit. He tried to lighten it, but didn't have any success. This thing is very accurate, but the trigger is way too stiff. I don't...

    S&W Model 29-3 markings

Thanks for the info guys, I appreciate it. I was told this was a 70's gun, but the s/n's don't lie.

    S&W Model 29-3 markings

I recently acquired a S&W model 29-3. While logging the s/n I noticed 2 different numbers in the crane. I was pretty sure that the one that was X27xx was it, but to be sure I removed the grips. X27xx seemed to be my s/n number, but I found a bunch of other markings on the frame as well. I'd...

    Old Thread but new post.....

Not that it's any of my business, but why not re-cut the chamber for American .410? That's what I did since I'm not a reloader.

    Nagant target revolver, info about?

Thanks Teacher. I'm glad to know what model it is & will look up the cites you've given. I appreciate everyone's response to my question, thank you all very much.

    Nagant target revolver, info about?

SDC: I've got the gun you're talking about, that's it. Same grips, spring type front sight, same barrel. I'm pretty sure this gun was remanufactured into its current configuration because it appears to have been reblued due to coarse "polishing" (more like fine grinder marks) and the S/N...
