Just voted, it's at 78.1% against the ban, out of 67,733 total votes! Hmm, I wonder how long MSNBC will keep this poll active?

Does anyone know of a website that has info about what is going on with our NYS gun laws, and how to track current bills like this one? Because is seems that if we don't keep informed and let our politicians know that we will use our "vote", they will keep infringing on our 2A here in NY state.

Does anyone know when the NYS senate will review and vote on these 13 bills?

Oh yea, check out this one, (buried in bill A02881) "to provide that a person is guilty of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree when such person knowingly possess and intends to use any devastator ammunition, frangible ammunition, and any armor piercing ammunition."...

Heads up for all you NY state members: 13 different bills, including .50BMG or larger ban/confiscation, microstamping for semi-auto handguns, 5 year pistol permit renewal with saftey course required, and a modification to the NY version of the AWB...

Their website also has a printable flyer that can be easily posted at gun shops, gun clubs, ranges, etc. I think there are a lot of pro - 2nd amendment folks that may not be computer savy! Ben
