As many have said, some prefer them others don't. The beauty is in the choice. At 27 I would.give you a piece of advice and that is learn to be flexible and dont focus only on yourself. There are others around you that have different needs. Learn to be flexible. In a hurricane a 2x4 is easily...
Before I picked up a 642 I either only heard or only paid attention to the folks that said it would hurt to shoot it. I wish I hadn't listened. It is a decent little gun to shoot, and in my mind has way less recoil than a .40 out of a Glock 27, but a tad more than a 9mm out of a Glock 26. You...
You should be very happy with that gun! I have the synthetic stocked version with a Burris Timberline and can keep my groups around an inch give or take at 100 yards consistently with 100gr Federals.
Fortunately there are plenty of options for us all to choose from! I have carried some type of knife with a clip on it for years. Only recently have I taken to carrying a Case medium stockman. I love the knife, but I do notice a significantly slower rate of deployment being the thing is buried...
Look for a 3" Ruger SP101 Special Edition. May be a touch over your budget, but the engraving is incredible! I would guess it is done on a cnc machine, but looks very nice. If you don't want to spend the extra dough, go with a 3" SP101 with some fancy grips/grip inserts.

Just sent off an email myself. I am not a huge fan, but indulge from time to time. Give me black Eight O' Clock coffee any day, and maybe an extra Caramel Frappacino from Starbucks in light of their decision. Help support those that support us!!
Look at the case website. They have a lot of options that are a lot more unique than what is available at the local hardware store. Should easily find something to meet your criteria.
+1
Having owned the XD and Glock lines of pistols it really is a matter of personal preference. The older XD's had finish issues and was the only reason I got rid of mine. Having corrected the finish issue the only advantage the Glock has over the XD in my mind is aftermarket parts. If you don't...
How did you heat treat it? I am actually in the middle of making my first knife from a file. I have enjoyed the process and the learning. I am STILL trying to get the thing flat and ready for scales and I can assure you the next one will come from a piece of stock and not a file!
Looks good!
Assuming your planning on using the original Flitz, it is not abrasive. It is a polish and works very well! I am definitely a fan, good stuff. Good find on the 19-3, should be a lot of fun!
I guess I am in trouble then! I wear cargos (usually Dickies) because they are effective! I don't carry stuff in my back pockets, tends to be bad for the back. Especially the "Kramer Wallet"! I usually have more stuff in my pockets then what would allow for pocket carry. Keys, thumbdrive, pocket...
Since he is looking at the Savage which has a 1 in 9.25" twist he should be good to go with all but the heaviest Bergers. I have seen a couple of comments on the Midway site on the 105gr A-max where folks specify the Savage as their rifle and are getting good results. My second time out with my...
