    Marlin 1894SS Ghost Ring

    Im about to put a gohst ring on my 1894ss and was wondering if I will have to drill and tap new holes, or do the holes in the top of the reciever fit the gohst ring holes? Also, is this a pretty reliable gun? (for hunting and home defense)

    Marlin 1984ss Gohst ring

    I ordered a new marlin 1984ss. I think i want to put the xs gohst ring on it but i dont want to have to drill and tap new holes. Will it mount straight on the recievers holes? thank you, Billy
