Well i guess I’m going to go buy a box of 175gr partitions then and see how the gun shoots.

So is there any downside to the 175gr vs the 160gr partition?

I’m hunting spot and stalk spring bear in Montana.

Also, I’m hunting black bears only.

Sorry, should have been specific. It’s a 7mm rem mag with a 26” barrel. The ABLRs worked great on prong horn with little meat damage. I understand it’s totally overkill, i just really like this rifle so it’s really the only one I hunt with to maintain consistentency.

Hey THR, I’m getting back into reloading after a couple years, and need to buy a set of rifle dies for both the above calibers. I only previously reloaded pistol calibers. I just bought a 550C. Any suggestions on the dies?

9mm, the easy mount does look good, and would save me having someone weld something up. I can’t find anything on them, and they appear out of business. Any idea how to get one and what the price was?

I’ve looked at the harbor freight bench. Is it decent? I’ve had some HF stuff work really well and other things fail in a big way.
