I had one, and traded it for a G19, just due to ammo prices locally. The G38 is a good weapon if you can over look the ammo cost.

My 85 ultra lite was pretty sloppy after about 500 rounds. My 637 has about 800 through it, and is as tight as the day I got it. You decide.

I can't help you with the nomenclature. I'm a Glock/Auto guy myself, but Lead Away cloths really make clean up a snap. Just be sure that you don't use them on blued revolvers. It works great on stainless.

I'm a little bit more accurate with my 3913 over my G23 as well, but it's not that big of a deal. What I like most, now that I've got a youngin' around, is the mag disconnect, and manual safety. Sure, I'm giving up some fire power, but at this stage in my life, I couldn't care less.

How does that happen?

I've owned both, and currently only have the P32 that my wife bought me a few Christmas' ago. The P3AT had a bit too much bite for me, so I sold it to a fellow HighRoader. My P32 don't jam, and neither did the P3AT.
