I actually found some .40 cal Swiss at a gunshow last winter...$5/ rd....I got $25 worth and am gonna shoot that ol' ('78/'81) Vertelli when the weather breaks...maybe the'll start makin' it again just for me...!!!

Proof marked on top of receiver as: Nitro Proof, Munich, Date code 66
Left receiver wall has: 01088 Mod E M1 .22 ERMA-Werke Made in Germany
