Perhaps the NRA stance in the last thread, about the future of
the Second Amendment, regarding the presumptive democratic
nominee was just a showing of prescience :)
As a retired, mostly traffic, officer here is my 2cents worth...
Never volunteer anything to police that is not required.
If stopped have what you need (license, registration, ins, whatever) ready BEFORE the officer gets out of his vehicle.
Have windows on officers' approaching side...
My police work in the '60s and '70s pretty much precluded autos. Used a Colt Agent, Smith 3 1/2 M27 and Smith M36.
