I always believed in this theory, but its nice to know someone has the patience to test fire and find out for sure.
for plinking I sometimes I use the scoop and load method lol.
how about looking for a parts gun at shows, are they that rare to find?I own newer firearms so I dont have these problems yet.but its a shame to have a small part worn that makes the firearm unsuitable to shoot, very frustrating.hope you find a solution.
always let the rifling/bore dictate your col,use published data strickly for a starting point.
using the magazine should give you maximim col possible, but never use them this large, just for knowledge.
i usually use 1.200 for light bullets and 1.270 for heavy ones.
taurus raging bull 6 shot wheelgun.I reduced the ruger/contender loads for 300grain bullets, for use in my bull.
20 grains of wc820 and 12 grains of wc820 f were right on,very accurate and just enough recoil to say hi.
thanks guys.
I would consider using them but they are too heavy,1156 and 124 work best,147 is really pushing the envelope, and higher pressure is not good either, just shoot the 1000 in 357.
yum!
I usually run at least 100 rounds at once so I deprime, size, prime and tumble, then charge and seat.
I prefer carbide dies, but when you need to use lube,I prefer to tumble, unless only running a few test rounds.
week ammo?
I believe most standard commercial ammo is loaded pretty light.
the more expensive bonded core hollow points bullets are pretty accurate, but they shure charge you for it.
