British nitro conversion Cylinders (hello from a newbie from England)

"As an American, I find this really strange, as it sounds like a "there is a national ban except where there isn't" kind of thing. I keep having to remind myself that England is one part of the greater United Kingdom." The loophole in the Law is that it only applies to the British Mainland...

British nitro conversion Cylinders (hello from a newbie from England)

"Do you hunt with those? What's that like?" As far as I know we are not allowed to hunt with any muzzle loaders :) "Didn't make sense though to spend over $500 when I can just buy a .44 magnum." Now that is just depressing, our naff LBR revolvers are roughly (£700) $1000 over here...

British nitro conversion Cylinders (hello from a newbie from England)

"Welcome to THR. Wowza, no offense, but I'm glad I live in the States. What is the "wrist brace" for other than length/annoyance factor?" To make it less concealable, and to increase it’s overall length the british law states that a firearm must be: “104. The Government noted the...

"More interesting is how do you go about purchaseing the modern Taurus gun to use this sytem on ? " We are allowed what we call Long Barrelled Revolvers, but I personally think that they are quite comical. 12 barrel with a wrist brace, or with a 18in barrel...

"Welcome to THR. That is interesting and I guess you do what you have to. How much do the cylinders cost? It made me appreciate where I live." £404 which presently is $633.15 "I must be missing something. You are putting nitro cylinders on a handgun that was a cap and ball to start...

Thank you for all of your videos mike. In the UK we have to apply for FAC slots to purchase these things and most of the time we are limited as to how many we are allowed so nearly all of the shooters I know have either a Ruger Old Army, a 1858 or a 1851. So your videos are so very...
