    Question about Browning Hi Power

Hey Guys/Gals, I recently acquired a Browning Hi Power, but I am not familiar with this particular gun all that much, so I'm confused about which "version." I have. It's a 9mm with wood (walnut) grips, and here is what it says on each side: On the left side of the slide, it says...

    AMD-65/NDS-3 from TGI

Dave, Thanks for the reply. I didn't think it was an FEG since the Nodak Spud part was on there. NOMI, He said he's fired several hundred rounds through it. The mags were just what he collected along the way (if you can't shoot the heck out of it, then why have it?). The...

    AMD-65/NDS-3 from TGI

I'm looking at trading for a buddy's AK variant, but I have some questions about it. It is built much like a Hungarian AMD 65, but with all the paint on it (don't ask) I'm not sure if it's an FEG receiver or not. I am not sure about the quality of this model, but this is what is stamped on the...

    Mossberg 500 APR buttstock options

Ok, the attached pic (assuming it loaded) illustrates what I'm talking about. 70 views and nobody has any idea? :(

    Mossberg 500 APR buttstock options

Hey guys and gals. I got a Mossberg 500 APR from a buddy of mine. He cut the wooden buttstock down an inch or two and it has no buttpad. I didn't care for the length of pull with this short stock and plan to replace it. I was thinking it would be easy to replace the stock with some new...

Is the Taurus Model 66 a copy of the S&W M19?

Looking to get one of the newer (2009) Taurus model 66s - a 4" blued model that's a 7 shooter. It's hardly been used, and the guy wants to trade it for my Taurus model 441. I kinda like the 441, but I'd rather have the versatility of a .44 mag that will shoot both rounds (mag and special) and...

    +p ammo in a S&W 442?

Guillermo, For what it's worth, I appreciate all that you've written in that regard.

    +p ammo in a S&W 442?

And by stamped, I mean stamped +p. Or I'll get a .357 mag snub. And no airweight .38 special is gonna HURT me with hot ammo. I'm too young, strong, big, and stubborn. Give me another 20+ years, then we'll see if I'm recoil sensitive....until then, these size 15 ring-wearing meat beaters will...

    +p ammo in a S&W 442?

Gary A....LOL....it was quite the discussion, I tell ya. Y'all had me going with that one. Very entertaining. I'm looking forward to the Taurus 441. I'll be getting it tomorrow.

    +p ammo in a S&W 442?

BTW....the guys who talked about steel framed Smith and Wessons from half a century ago....NOT AT ALL in the same league as a small, lightweight, titanium/scandium/***-ever gun. So that didn't help at all. I get that old steel guns will do fine with +p ammo or whatever you professors of pressure...

    +p ammo in a S&W 442?

Good God....why did I ever ask this question? Traded the 442 for a Taurus pt1911 with four mags...straight up. Back to .45 (where I belong). Up next, I'm trading one of my Remington 870s for a Taurus 441 in blue steel with a 3" barrel. That'll satisfy/cure my "shorter" barrel revolver...

    +p ammo in a S&W 442?

Maybe I'll take a look at it again, but could have sworn it said 442 only.

    +p ammo in a S&W 442?

My 442 does not have the dreaded lock. It's marked 442...not 442-1. I hadn't planned on shooting a steady diet of +p through it, just wanted to be able to put some down the pipe and carry it as well. BTW, I don't believe in carrying something I won't shoot at least a box of. Nothing like...

    +p ammo in a S&W 442?

Mine doesn't say +p on the barrel, and yeah I originally thought that the 442 was merely the blued (black) version. I just don't want to take chances with the gun. I bought it without box or instructions, so no help there.
