I have a question on the recoil of the 1911. I have 2 1911's - Colt Combat Elite Government model and a newly purchased Remington R1 Gov't Model. I am used to the comfortable recoil of the Colt but was surprised how the R1 kicked using the same 200gr RN bullet. It actually felt like a 40SW...
The LC9s is an excellent gun. It is my daily carry. Buy the 9 round magazine. You end up with a full grip of the gun which makes it more comfortable and controllable to shoot.
I love my LC9S. The recoil is not bad at all with the 9 round magazine. For such a small gun, it is quite accurate. I practice with it regularly as it should be as a carry gun. It goes in an IWB holster when needed and on my ankle at work.
Hey doc. Does yours shoot low? I have the ATI full sized government model and shoots 2 inches low. It's very reliable but I have to compensate by covering my target with the front sight to hit it square, versus my Colt 1911 Combat Elite where it shoots at point of aim.
Hello everybody!
I live in WA state and found a rifle that I wanted to purchase 3 hours away in Portland, OR. I have never bought any firearm outside my state. Is it possible for me to buy it in person in Portland or must it be shipped to my local state? Thanks for your responses.
This may be a silly advice but make sure the target sits in the middle of the rear peep sight and not the post of the front sight covering the middle of the rear peep sight.
Also for safety, I have a holster with a thumb break. The hammer is cocked , safety on and thumb break of the holster is in between the gun and the hammer. Nearly impossible for it to go off accidentally.
