For me the epitome has always been the blued S&W N frame revolvers like this Pre-Model 29 I never managed to hang onto my Pre-29 but at least I still have my set of M29-2's.

My DR would be an early pre-Model 29 44 Magnum with coke bottle grips like this one. The reality is I had to settle for a run of the mill M29-2. Much more in line with my pay grade than an early 5 screw gun.

You need to use M885 ammo for the 223/5.56 with the 62 grain GREEN tip. It works every time!
