I get coffee cans and paint them with bargain basement spray paint to cover up the brands. Then uses the resulting items to sort and store brass casings.

Do rawhide mallets have any use in gunsmithing?

I would expect that kind of misfire rate for that steel-case Russian 22LR stuff that was around some years back. CCI Blazer is quite reliable too, though they seem to have changed the bullet coating.

I also have an M1895 Nagant 1913 w/1916 overstamp IIRC. Only shoots single-action. Have fired original ammo, but also 32 H&R, 32 S&W Short and Long. Cobbled together some loads with 32 SWL brass and 95gr SWCL with 1.5gr 100 Nitro. The bullets were samples from NBC bought back in 07 as I bought...

A Romanian M1969 bolt-action trainer. Belonged to a fellow club member who expired last Spring.

Degrease sight blade wth rubbing alcohol. Add a dab of white out. Dab of acryllic craft paint in neon red. Have used orange highlighter too.

Picked up a CZ-82 from J & G Sales in 9 x 18mm. Good shooter, night sights, mag release near trigger guard. Mags are scarce though.:cool:

Check for burrs too. Had looked at several Romanian M1969 trainer rifles and fould burrs on the extractor claws.

I used my Frosts Swedish Army sheath knife to field dress a deer. That stainless steel blade held it's edge well. The polymer grip can stand up to abuse and the sheath stays on securely for safe carry in a pack or pocket.
