At that range you might consider getting a Sharps with a MVA soule sight. They are good to 1000 yds+. Could even get a Malcomb scope with your budget. Never heard of Quigley? A 500-535 gr bullet will give you plenty of stopping power.

I rarely have any cases with sharpie marks left on them and if they do it is only faint marks with black. The colored ones are always gone.
