They have had something like 2 or 3 people in just the last couple years off themselves with rented guns at that range. Couple years ago they had two people die there within the same week. http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/local/shot083.shtml
There are all of two indoor ranges serving the...
Most importantly, if the other side had won, human beings would have remained a commodity. Real easy to figure out who the bad guys are in that fight. Of course this is why people try so hard to separate the slavery issue from the civil war, because it is the only way a person can argue that...
It also just might have something to do with what the other guy is carrying. going into combat with the ballistic equivalent of a hot .32 makes more sense when that is what everyone else is carrying.
I am just bewildered that a Reno Nevada taxi company bans the carrying of weapons in their vehicles. Overall my impression is that Reno is a pretty accomodating place to people who carry weapons, and taxi of all places is a place that really makes sense to carry one. I can't think of many...
This is also why you almost never see motorcycle cops wearing full face helmets. It's been long established in our culture that the "good guys" don't need to wear masks.
I don't know what kind of autos you have tried, but it sure as heck doesn't take me three seconds to open one, and i am not particularly well practiced or fast.
I don't think there were any implications in my question beyond the obvious nature of the question itself, which you haven't answered by the way. You scrounged up a 2 year old thread for a reason, i was curious as to why and what had happened in the intervening time. Seems a pretty reasonable...
The Ruger is a really nice gun but it is VERY heavy for a snubby. It makes an excellent pack, camping, or hiking gun, but it doesnt really have that "snubby-advantage" in terms of carry.
It's been awhile since I have dealt with this, but there is an ATF license required to import a firearm. There are some FFLs that might be able to make the arrangements, i think the best people to talk to would be the big C&R import houses that deal with this daily like AIM Surplus etc.
The...
My rule of thumb is that anything under .380 suffers from some penetration issues and one should stick with solids. I would much rather end up with a bullet that doesnt expand than one that gets stuck in a rib.
Look at the dates in this thread, the followup post came nearly two YEARS after the last post. I would imagine that some events may have taken place in the mean time?
I've had some guns come REAL close to getting spit out of their holster on a motorcycle. Hell, I've had wallets and cell phones do the same thing. I've actually gone to a smaller gun in an inside pocket to avoid the problem. For a full sized gun on the waist you are gonna need some kind of...
