    mr bullet feeder

Thanks again guys. You are correct that I will need an adapter not a sleeve, just me using incorrect terminology. Higgite, I used your adapter dimensions as a base for my adapter, I just chose not to step the o/d as you did but left it at 1". I can turn down the upper o/d as you did to fit...

Thanks guys, that gives me some dimensions to work with. I love messing with things like this as an additional part of my reloading. I am not really familiar with the Lee up close never having handled one. I assume the base just sits over the top of a die and the turret turns on that...

Maybe someone with the Lee feeder will chime in with the diameter of the largest tube the cylinder will hold? I would like to try it out but don't want to buy one just to find it won't work. I don't load any pistol calibers so I have no other use for it.

Do you know what the outside diameter of the Lee tubes is? I'm using 1/2" o/d, 1/4" i/d at the moment.

As far as I know the 4 tube version is only for pistol bullets. My prime objective here was to minimize using my big clumsy fingers placing small bullets in an awkward place. I got fed up with picking them up off the floor! Also AFAIK the Lee multi tube feeder is only for pistol bullets.

This is what I did for my 223 AI. Lee Collet die, Powder drop, Lyman M die, MBF die, Redding Seater die. The magazine tube holds 25 bullets (55 grain Zombie Max) and is 18" long. I have 3 more tubes the same which I pre fill and transfer to the magazine tube as needed. The adapter was made...

Adapter Higgite, would you care to share the dimensions of your adapter? I have a MBF die in the mail.

Loading 223 on a Piggyback I use a Lee Collet die, no lube needed.

    Tube bullet feeder.

Can anyone point me to a tube based bullet feeder that will work with 223? I can't justify the cost of a collator system. It would be nice if I could buy the Hornady 223 bullet feed die alone and fit a tube but I don't think it's available other than in the conversion kit.

    Hornady Bullet Feeder Die

Thank you jmorris for your input. I was ignorant of the correct terminology. As you say, I need the "dropper" which I assume is the tube and the "die" at the base of the tube. Am I correct in assuming this? Do you know if the KISS unit is still available and where to get it? Sorry for so...

    Hornady Bullet Feeder Die

I just found this forum and this post so I apolgize for resurrecting an old post. I want to put a bullet feed tube onto my Piggyback which I only use for .223 but I'm not knowledgeable enough to know what I need to buy. Do I just need a Mr. Bulletfeeder die assembly and some tube of the...
