I have run close to 1500 rounds out of my 23 with a LW conversion barrel. It gets used usually twice a month to shoot IDPA matches. I have yet to have a single issue. Using the 40 cal extractor and KCI 9mm mags.

I have two of them. Picky about ammo and magazines. They have more malfunctions and broke parts than all my other guns combined. I love how they feel in my hand and they are great Americana. I keep spending money on them because it's interesting. Not my first choice for self defense...
Like others have said - lock it in an strong box. I have a few of these nanovaults. I keep one under my driver's seat should I need to take my pistol off of me. It still could get stolen, but it going to take a little more effort and tools to bust the cable or box.
Noticed the spent casing with the last couple pistols I've acquired. Was wondering what they were for. Figured there was some sort of Draconian reason behind it.
