If your keeping your eye out for bolt 30-30s watch for a Savage 340 I have one with a Willams peep sight on it. It's surprisingly accurate with 160 gr ftx handloads.
35 Remington fan myself, I keep sending messages to Starline asking if it's in their plans to offer brass. Hopefully one day my subliminal messaging will work. They do offer some more obscure cartridges so maybe the time is coming.
Fan of the 357 carbines myself. Have a pre safety blued JM 1894C, JM stainless 1894CSS, Ruger 77/357, IMI pump action timberwolf and a 357 Handi rifle.
Friend had a Savage 340 (actually marked Revelation 225 made for Western Auto) 30-30 he got from somewhere. I'm pretty certain he never fired it and quite possibly no one else did either or at least not many times. He needed money so I bought it from him. Had a 4x scope in a side mount which I...
I got some 1680 from grafs mid December, Midway and midsouth also had it briefly around the same time, my order just shipped yesterday. Ive seen H110 more frequently at those 3 retailers plus Powder Valley and Natchez, I purchased some from Midway 2 wks ago. I was seeing 296 for a while up till...

It appears that the poise from 10gr-500 is mainly what is off. The .1-.10 and 1-10 seem right on. The check weight set...
I didn't have any instructions, before I figured out the wheel I had read somewhere that sometimes to zero them you needed to add or subtract weight to the bottom of the pan. It now reads zero but is off with the check weights. Complete check weight set is 60.5gr it weighed at 60.9. Seems like...
So I received the Ohaus 505 . Figured out zeroing it had to add some #12 shot , its on a level surface , adjusted wheel so it reads zero. When I use the check weights 20gr weighs @ 20.2, 40gr @ 40.3 and 50gr @ 50.3. Is this normal ? Am I doing something wrong?
