    Back when I wore contact lenses, I would get a slightly taller ghost image of the front sight. I could see right thru it, and only used the hard image, and therefore didn't do the M-word. jim

    I've been told that some of the russian ammo has steel jacket rounds. I understand that most of it is steel cased, and this may be causing some confusion. Is there such a thing as steel jacket slugs in 5.56 ammo? jim

    Gabe Suarez swears by them. Not knowing your entire situation, I'd respectfully remind you that rifles do tend to over penetrate, and you must be careful.     Does anyone make a peep sight for the SKS that fits into the existing rear sight so the standard elevation method can be used? If not, then does the Tech sight return to zero once the rifle has been cleaned and rassembled? Thanks! jim

    Reflex or Red Dot Sight Question

    I'm thinking about getting an AR15, and adding either a reflex sight or red dot sight. I hear they're both good, but have no experience with them. So, my question is: With a 20" bbl and 55-60 gr. slugs, using these sights, what is the effective range of this combo on say an 18" circle? Thanks!
