    I received mine on my 12th birthday back in 78....... my dad gave me the choice of it or a Winchester lever action as both were on sale for $79.99...... at Jamesway. I chose the Marlin, easier to mount scopes and I just liked the looks better. It's still with me, I even picked up a lever action...

    Sighting 30-06 4" high at 100 or 320 yard zero for deer

    same here, I hunt with a 30-06 in Northwestern PA...... very hilly/lots of trees........ unless I'm walking through a timbered area my shots will be under 200 yards for the most part.

    A thread to post your hunting success so far this year.

    closest I came to getting a deer this year in PA was finding this one. Sat down on a log to watch a trail for a while and looked behind me and saw it. Untouched by porcupines so I took it with me. Unfortunately it didn't qualify for the buck pool. lol

    I have and use 18 round Mec Gar mags in my P226 9mm....... no issues what so ever and as for Pro Mag. The only way I end up with Pro Mags is if they came in a package deal for a gun I wanted.
