    Ear protection and hunting

Bird hunting, no. Deer, well, kinda. I have some plugs on a cord around my neck if I have a chance to put them in, I will. If I don't, I won't.

    Case Collectors

Picked up a yellow handle CV case. Picked up 2 more. Then 1 more. I rotate through them all, depending on which one I feel like carrying that day. Pretty soon, I'll be picking up another one. Recently realized, I'm collecting. Once I get all the CV yellow handled models I can find, I'll move...

Gun or guns you regret selling.

12 years ago, sold one much like this, with a double stacked magazine. But, needed the money more than the gun. It was such a sweet shooting gun. http://springfield-armory.com/armory.php?model=8

    Gift suggestions

Just re-read the OP. Didn't see where he asked for anything but opinions on which knife. Come on people. He's a grown man. If he wants to buy the kid a knife after checking with the legal guardians, it's up to him.

Good job. Hopefully you saved this guy some money from buying all the useless stuff. Maybe this guy actually thought all the bolt on crap actually did something.

    Stuck

I'm stuck. I'm trying to decide between a .30-.30 and .44mag leverguns. It will be for hunting deer and pigs in the thick Florida swamps. I do reload, so I have that much going for me. Where I hunt, a 100 yard shot would be very long. I was looking at .35rem, but I'm thinking that's just much...

Be aware of how your activities affect your preparedness

Adrenalin will overpower it, no matter how tired you are. I don't doubt it at all. Quick example... 9 years ago, get in a wreck with a drunk driver. Run around to passenger side and fling open door to check on wife, no problems. Couple days later, go pick up personal stuff from totaled truck...

High Speed Video : .357 Magnum Speer 125gr Gold Dot vs. gelatin

Am I the only one that wants to see a hot loaded .38 wadcutter do that test? Might slow down the war on the wadcutters as SD loads thread. :D

    Messed Up April Fool's Joke

It was a joke, just because YOU didn't find it funny, doesn't mean it's a subject that shouldn't be joked about. Just be happy that they liked you enough to try to joke with you.

Why are .38 wadcutters not considered a good carry load?
