    What calibers do you shoot?

    Whats your caliber footprint?

Not that many... I've kind of pared it down to the guns I really can't live without: Rifles: 7.62X51 (one) 7.62X39 (two) 5.56X45 (one) Shotgun: 12GA (one) Handguns: (one of each) 10MM 9MM .45ACP .45 Super .380ACP .22lr

    308 Semi-automatic

OK, the more I have the RFB out, the more I like it. About 500 rounds through it so far, without one malfunction... the forward ejection seemed wierd at first, but I'm getting used to it :) Finally have it set up the way I want it, with optics/buis/vfg  Pricey, and if I could own a FAL...

7.62x39 Rifles that are not AKs or SKS?

Vz58 is an excellent choice in 7.62X39. I love mine - good ergonomics, reliable, and reasonably accurate and lightweight :)

    VZ.58 Club:

lol Yep, we're pretty practical! Here, a rifle does need to be a minimum of 26" overall length AND over 18.5"ish barrel length to be 'non-restricted' (which means it tan be fired in places other than ranges). And yes, even without stocks, all of mine meet both of thos requirements :) Our gun...

    VZ.58 Club:

My understanding of our law is that if you cut the barrel to less than 18.5, you're a criminal... no ifs, ands, or buts. So nope, unfortunately not.

    VZ.58 Club:

18.5"-ish, to be unrestricted here... we can have shorter barrels, but then they are subject to stricter transport requirements and can only be fired at gun ranges :banghead:

    VZ.58 Club:

Mine :) (note the long barrels, required to make them 'non-restricted' here north of the border)

    308 Semi-automatic

We don't have as many choices here north of the border - we can't have FALs, G3's or AK-based systems, for example, but M14s are cheap, so a lot of guys have those and love 'em. I just got my RFB, though, and would HIGHLY recommend it - I've been really happy with it so far, although sourcing...

    Recommend a Fun Gun!

Glock-29's always pretty fun... lots of BOOM from a pretty small package! (...though 10MM ammo's not exactly cheap)

    Israeli Tavor

Mag-fed (obviously!) Rem 870 clone by Norinco :) Everyone who's seen it in person seems to think it looks serously bad-ass. I need a different forend for it, though; I think the one that's on it is kinda goofy. More info: http://world.guns.ru/shotgun/sh38-e.htm

    Israeli Tavor

Perhaps even less sense... our lovely government prohibited a whole raft of guns 'by name' in the 90's, but many guns that came into the country later are perfectly legal. This means, for example, that we can't have AKs... but can have Vz58s. Also, we can't have AUGs - as they prohibited...

    Israeli Tavor

Yep, we can get 'em here in Canada, but the only reason we're willing to pay $3000+ is that we don't have many bullpup alternatives... AUGs are prohibited, the chinese type 97 has been banned, and the FS2000 here is about the same price as a Tavor... sigh...

    What does your woman carry?

Can't CC here, but my other half has a Glock-19 that she would carry if she could...
