Muzzle brakes are great at making your weapon as obnoxiously loud as it can possibly be made. This in turn will earn you the shun of any fellow shooters that happen to step up to the firing line along side you.

I put a set of Eagle Heritages on my 586 no dash and a 27 3.5.
These are similar to the old S&W Coke Bottle design.
I called Eagle and asked for the nicest grain they had in stock at the time and they came through for me. The fit perfectly with very nice grain patterns.
I would recommend them.
