What you have to pay $3000 for a P210 in the USA? A former swiss service pistole P49 aka P210 worth only approx $1000-1100.
For target shooting they are meybe not better 9mm gun ever build.
But as "range toy" I would choose:
1. Walther PPQ
2. S&W M&P
3. IMI Jericho (in the USA maybe sold as IMI...
Here in Switzerland we've quite liberty gun law in Europe. But not the free that most in the USA maybe think.

As a range toy an target shooting I would go with the STI 1911. Much better trigger and fun to shoot then any sticker fired gun.
You already have some double stack 9mm and a PPQ is just an other polymer framed bouble stack service pistol.
A pistole must fit you hand and you have to master the trigger well.
I tried my friend's P30 few time. It fit my hand well, but the trigger (in this case the P30 V1 trigger configuration) is note my favorit. Long trigger pull and you have to release the trigger quite long to get to the reset...
My Glock 19 has RTF2 frame, so no grip tap would needed.
Modifications that I made:
- Extended slide release lever
- Front sight changed to HIVIZ
- But plug insert :) you know what I mean...
Here in Switzerland most people shooting with former Swiss army service pistols.
And at most target shooting competition you mostly see P210, few P220 and very few Luger in Cal. 7.62.
Swiss army revolver are certified for competition shooting. But ammo are hard to find and expensiv :)
